The word ministry comes from the Greek word diakoneō meaning to wait on, or to serve. The Bible tells us that Jesus came to earth not to be ministered unto, but to minister to others (Mark 10:45). In our sincere attempts to follow Jesus’ example, Glastonbury Baptist Church members and friends strive to serve others both inside and outside of our church walls.
God gives to each of his children gifts and talents for His glory. We believe that each person who comes through the doors of Glastonbury Baptist Church will have the opportunity to discover and develop their God-given gifts and talents and use them to serve Him. We encourage you to participate in our ministries and welcome new and creative ministry ideas.
